I hereby apply for membership in the Florida Association of Professional Lobbyists. I have read and understand the By-laws and Code of Professional Ethics of the Association.

A.  I agree to comply with both the letter and the spirit of the Code of Professional Ethics of the Association;

B. I agree to attend an educational course developed by the Association in a timely manner satisfy any continuing educational requirements that are established by the Board;

C. I confirm that I have not been convicted of a felony.

D. I agree to participate in the dispute resolution process prescribed in the By-laws and to waive any cause of action on the part of any other member arising from that member's good faith participation in any disciplinary matter that substantially complies with that process.

Active Member
    

This member classification consists of both public sector and private sector lobbyists who are actively retained or employed as lobbyists and are registered with the State Board of Elections.
Affiliate Member
    

This member is employed by an Active Member, or the organization employing an Active Member, and who have an interest or need to know the laws, rules and mores of professional lobbying and must not be registered to lobby at any level of government.
Associate
    

This member class would consist of those individuals, partnerships or corporations, LLC’s etc. who have a special interest in FAPL members or in the profession of lobbying.
Group Member
    

This member class consists of individual lobbyists employed by a partnership, corporation, LLC, or other entity that also employs an Active Member.
Student
    

Students are those individuals who are enrolled as a student in a university or college at least part-time and who have an interest in the pursuit of the lobbying profession. This membership category has no voting rights and is not eligible to serve on the Board of Directors.
